Tuesday 22 September, 10am. Walk along the shore of Alton Water Reservoir for 2.5 miles and then return along the same footpath. Park at the second car park nearest the waterfront / watersports reception. Parking fees apply: £2 per hour (pay at the small brown kiosk near reception before departing). Our Tendring u3a walking group had the pleasure of meeting Tracey Howe walking between Clacton & Frinton...she is currently walking 5,000 miles around the coast of Great Britain raising money for various charities...she left Glasgow on November 1st 2024 and is now over half way on her long journey.
