This is a group in which readers, writers, musicians, painters and craft workers are given an opportunity to perform or present their work in a friendly and homely atmosphere.

Live performances rather than absolute perfection are asked for. A non-performing but enthusiastic audience is also required.

Readers have quoted from their own work as well as passages from general literature. The scope of the poetry reading is vast ranging from Pam Ayres to Tennyson and from Bryson to Shakespeare.

Musical performances have included the Recorder Group, solo singing, clarinet and piano solos and duets. Additionally we have had fascinating demonstrations of ancient instruments including a spinet. The Bell Ringing and the Singing for Fun Groups have occasionally performed for us. Again the scope of music ranged enormously from the very well known to the classics.

A wide range of work from the practical groups has also been shown and discussed.
